Well it's been a few weeks since my last post, but don't think I haven't been "crafting at naptime." I have been busy busy busy. I had my first vendor fair the weekend before last so the days and weeks prior to that I was working my little butt off trying to get lots and lots of stuff made. Here are some pics from the Vendor fair.

"Tutu" much cleaning and organizing!!

Today I finished the black tutu  started yesterday which didn't take much time at all. I have an Open House coming up that I am taking part in this November. I have been making lots of trips to Hobby Lobby to get my supplies, so needless to say my craft area has been a mess!! All that clutter makes me crazy and it makes it difficult for me to concentrate on one project. Well after I completed the tutu I thought it would be a good idea to clean and "organize" my space. I put organize in quotes because i really just have to find place to hide things, but in an organized fashion. ;-) I included some pictures of my space below.

Black tutu and added some satin ribbon to it. This was actually a custom order for some one's 6 month old.

Well here it is, My little scrappin'/craftin' corner!
The white thing in the corner is actually my dog's "bed." Its a large rubbermaid storage bin with a pillow and fleece blanket on top. She loves it!

Scrappin', Post its, and cups...oh my

Today is my baby girls 9 month "birth"day. Every month I make a cute little sign and take a picture of her next to it for her scrapbook. It's so neat to see the changes in her from month to month.

Here is the sign I made for her 9 month picture.

A teacher friend of mine asked if I could make some fun little gifts for her to give her fellow teachers and assistants for Christmas. I made a post it note holder and a reusable to go cup.

Here is the personalized Post it note holder

I also started on another tutu today, but didn't get it finished. Hope to get that done tomorrow and some pictures posted. :-)

Baby shower gifts

Today during nap time I put together a fun little baby shower gift basket for a dear couple that my husband and I went to school with. They are due to have there first child this Christmas. I had so much fun putting together this little bucket of goodies for them.

I added vinyl letters that I cut out with my Cricut to the bucket and a couple brown bows on the handles and VIOLA!!

Filled it with fun baby goodies: hats, socks, hooded towel, pj's and a paci clip

I made a cute little Paci Clip with MTSU themed ribbon. (MTSU is the school that we all attended together)

Adventures in Craftyland!!

Since I was a little girl, I have always loved doing arts and crafts. I think I started my first scrapbook when I was 7 years old!! I have done everything from scrapping, bow making, painting, sewing, jewelry making, you name it, I think that I have tried it. I recently had my first child and I am blessed to be a stay at home mom (which I LOVE every minute of) but, I have to say that keeping up with an infant all day does not leave much free time for crafting. I've found that in the last few months, nap time has become "my time." If I don't have chores to do around the house, I sit down at my crafting table and drift away in to craftyland. I decided to start this Blog to show off all of my "nap time" creations. I hope that you enjoy my blog and that it inspires you to be creative in your own lives. Thanks for stopping by!
